Avenging Angels Dominate Cross-town Rivalry against the Pacers

Box Score

Meredith defended their home court against cross-town rival, William Peace with ease as they cruised to a 59-38 victory. The Avenging Angels were in control from wire to wire, playing great team defense, holding the Pacers to just 25% shooting from the field and an astonishing 6.7% from the 3-point line. The offense was led by another double-double effort from Junior Forward Kate Perko as she scored 13 points and collected a season-high 21 rebounds. The Avenging Angels had a very well rounded offense as all 5 starters contributed points, as well as 5 players off the bench to contribute to a well rounded team effort.

The Avenging Angels hit the road for their next matchup as they travel to Southern Virginia with some momentum and look to knock off the conference leading Knights. The game will tip off at 7pm on Friday night.
