Tennis drops tight match at Mary Baldwin

Staunton, Va. - The Meredith tennis team traveled to Mary Baldwin University for a USA South clash where they fell 5-4 Saturday afternoon. 

The Angels started the day by taking two of the three doubles matches. Sophomore Claire Southern and junior Hannah Jo Jablonski picked up the win in the No. 2 doubles slot while sophomore Anna Bittler and freshman Lexie House earned the victory in the No. 3 doubles match. 

Bittler and House also picked up wins in singles action but Mary Baldwin took the 1-4 matches to secure the victory. 

Meredith is back in action for their last home match of the season when they host N.C. Wesleyan at 3 p.m. Thursday the 20th.
