Walker and Horrell Earn IWLCA All-Region Honors

NORTHBOROUGH, MASS. | Meredith junior Reese Walker and graduate student Madi Horrell earned IWLCA Chesapeake All-RegionSecond Team honors for their superb 2025 seasons for the Avenging Angels.

The IWLCA has honored 256 student-athletes in Division III with a selection toone of the All-Region teams for 2025. These student-athletes are now eligible to be named to a national IWLCA All-American team. The IWLCA will announce the 2024 IWLCA Division III All-American teams on May 23.

Walker finished her highly decorated season with 75 goals, 98 assists, and 173 points. Walker leads the nation in points and assists. Her excellence on the field throughout the season earned her USA South Offensive Player of the Year for the second straight season.  

Horrell excelled in net during her last season as an Avenging Angel. She finished the season with a 17-4 overall record and went 8-0 in conference play. Horrell faced 243 shots, made 92 saves, held a .469 save %. Horrell broke the USA South record for career wins in goal this season (18) after Meredith's 23-1 victory over North Carolina Wesleyan. Madi wrapped up her career with 47 wins in goal for
the Avenging Angels.

Walker and Horrell helped Meredith win their 11th straight USA South Tournament Title, eighth USA South Regular Season Championship, and both garnered First Team All-Conference honors.
