RALEIGH, N.C. — The Meredith College Avenging Angels lacrosse team continues to excel in both competition and the classroom. The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) has recognized Meredith College as one of just 383 programs across
Divisions I, II, III, and NAIA named to the
2024-25 IWLCA Academic Honor Squad list.
To earn this prestigious team honor, programs must achieve a team GPA of 3.20 or higher for the academic year—highlighting the Avenging Angels' collective commitment to academic excellence.
In addition to the team accolade, four Meredith lacrosse student-athletes were named to the 2024-25 IWLCA Division III Academic Honor Roll, which honors juniors, seniors, and graduate students who have earned a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher.
