RALEIGH, N.C. | Meredith College honored its graduating lacrosse players yesterday at a graduation ceremony in Johnson Hall. Meredith College held the special ceremony for the lacrosse team since they will play in the first round of the NCAA Tournament during the regularly scheduled commencement ceremony.
This senior class earned three USA South Regular Season Championships and four USA South Tournament Titles.
Lauryn Turner: Turner graduated with a bachelor's degree in communications and plans to pursue a career in athletic communications or social media within college athletics.
Sophie LeClaire: LeClaire got her bachelor's in biology and public health with a minor in chemistry. LeClaire will attend UNC Chapel Hill and pursue a PHD in Marine Microbiology.Â
Allison June Mabe: Graduating with a degree in political science and will pursue a career in government, law, research and or policy.
Ava Spradley: Ava graduated with her bachelor's degree in biology and a minor in business administration and marketing. She plans to remain in Raleigh to pursue an entry-level sales position and gain the necessary experience for a future job in medical device sales. Â
Casey Phelps: Phelps earned her bachelor's in health and exercise sports science. Casey plans to attend Drexel University to pursue a doctorate in Physical Therapy.
Madi Horrell: Horrell graduated with her master's in business administration (MBA). She plans to move to Colorado and pursue a career in Marketing or HR.
