LYNCHBURG, Va. - Liberty University has announced an update to the schedule for the Liberty Open indoor track & field meet. The meet will now be contested as a one-day event on Friday, January 23, at the Brant Tolsma Indoor Track, located inside the Liberty Indoor Track Complex.

Originally scheduled as a two-day competition (Friday and Saturday), the meet format was condensed due to the forecast of inclement weather, including the potential for heavy snowfall in central Virginia on Saturday. The decision was made to prioritize the safety of student-athletes, coaches, officials, and spectators.

Events are tentatively scheduled to being at 9 a.m., with approximately 40 colleges and universities expected to compete. Admission is free of charge.
