RALEIGH, N.C. – Senior attacker Reese Walker has been named Offensive Player of the Week following a standout performance that powered the Avenging Angels to a perfect 3-0 record.

Walker, a Fayetteville, North Carolina native, put together an impressive all-around week, totaling 23 points on 15 goals and eight assists. In addition to her offensive production, she contributed heavily on the defensive end with 12 ground balls and 12 caused turnovers.

She opened the week with a strong showing in a 20-8 road win at Marymount, tallying five goals and two assists while adding two caused turnovers and a ground ball. Walker followed that performance with a dominant outing in a 24-1 victory over Illinois Wesleyan, recording six goals and three assists. She also made a significant impact defensively, collecting nine ground balls and forcing seven turnovers.

Walker capped off the week in emphatic fashion against USA South opponent William Peace, finishing with four goals and three assists in a 23-0 shutout. She added three caused turnovers and two ground balls in the contest.

Her consistent production on both ends of the field played a key role in the Avenging Angels' success, as the team outscored opponents 67-9 across the three games.

Walker's recognition highlights not only her offensive firepower, but also her versatility and leadership as the Avenging Angels continue to build momentum this season.
