NEW ORLEANS, La. - Meredith College junior track and field athlete
Delaney Bundy has earned All-Region honors from the USTFCCCA after her standout work in the 10,000m this season.
The Cary, North Carolina native had a stellar junior campaign, finishing first in the 10,000m at the Dennis Craddock Coaches Classic, with a personal best time of 36:12.76.
She then crossed the line first in the 10,000m at the USA South Championship, adding to her impressive season.
Her best time of 36:12.76 is good for second in the South Region, easily qualifying her for All-Region recognition.
The top-8 individuals in each event from each region on the year-end Athletic.net Descending Order Lists earned All-Region distinction, in addition to each member of the region's top-8 relay teams. The regions used for this award – Great Lakes, Metro, Mid-Atlantic, Mideast, Midwest, Niagara, North, Northeast, South, and West – match those used during the cross country season.
