Ferrum, Va. – The Avenging Angels basketball team traveled
to Ferrum to take on the Panthers. Ferrum won the game 103-67 and
avenged their two-point loss to Meredith earlier in the season.
Meredith (6-15, 5-11 USA South) trailed Ferrum (18-6, 12-5) the
entire game after holding a 2-0 lead. Ferrum led 48-27 at the
half.
The Avenging Angels were led by Brittany Cornelius with 20 points.
Bryana Holmes scored 13 and Kayelyn Rochester had 10.
Meredith next hosts Averett in their home finale hosting the
Cougars in Meredith's PinkZone game to benefit the Kay Yow
Cancer Fund. Game time is 7 p.m.
