Kate Conoley has been named USA South Women's Soccer Rookie of the Week for the third time this season. The Wilson, North Carolina native delivered standout performances, helping the Avenging Angels to a perfect 2-0 record last week against conference opponents.
Conoley was instrumental in Meredith's 4-2 victory over N.C. Wesleyan, where she netted two goals. Her first came in the 19th minute, giving Meredith an early lead, and she struck again in the 51st minute to widen the advantage.
In a dominant 2-0 win over Mary Baldwin, Conoley again proved to be the difference maker, scoring the game-winning goal in the 58th minute.
Conoley's three-goal performance played a crucial role in helping the Avenging Angels continue their strong push for conference success this season.
