Box Score MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Meredith College soccer picked up a 3-1 win in a hard-fought non-conference battle against the Huntingdon College Hawks. After a scoreless first half, the Angels' defense remained resilient, limiting the Hawks to just four shots on goal, with goalkeeper Khaliah Jones holding strong.
Rebecca Morrison opened the scoring in the second half, finishing an assist from Kate Conoley. Freshman Evelyn Hopkins then took control, netting two goals to put the Angels up 3-0. Huntingdon managed to respond with a late goal, but it wasn't enough to overcome Meredith's commanding lead.
