Meredith Cross Country Ranked Eighth in USTFCCCA South Region Rankings

RALEIGH, N.C. — The Meredith College cross country team continues to make an impact this season, earning the No. 8 spot in this week's U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) NCAA Division III South Region Rankings.

This marks another milestone in an impressive season for the Avenging Angels, who have consistently turned heads across the region with standout performances and strong team depth. Meredith recently captured multiple top finishes at competitive meets, demonstrating the team's growing presence among the South Region's best.

Associate Athletic Director, Fiona Barkley, praised the team's continued dedication and progress: "This ranking reflects the hard work our student-athletes have put in all season. They've trained with focus and competed with heart, and it's exciting to see their efforts recognized at the regional level."

The Avenging Angels now look ahead to the USA South Conference Championship, where they aim to build on their momentum and contend for another top finish.
