Raleigh, N.C. — November 12, 2025 — The Meredith College volleyball team is proud to announce that three Avenging Angels have been recognized by the USA South Athletic Conference for their outstanding performances during the 2025 season.
Junior outside hitter, Caitlyn Russell earned First Team All-Conference honors, highlighting a season of strong offensive leadership and consistency on the court. Russell led the Avenging Angels in kills and points, proving to be one of the most dynamic attackers in the conference.
Senior setter, Lillie Davis was named to the All-Conference Honorable Mention Team. A four-year contributor and key leader for Meredith, Davis directed the Angels' offense with poise and precision, ranking among the team leaders in assists and digs.
Senior defensive specialist, Katelyn Patterson earned recognition on the All-Sportsmanship Team, an honor given to student-athletes who best exemplify respect for the game, teammates, opponents, and officials. Patterson's commitment, positivity, and leadership have left a lasting impact on the Meredith volleyball program.
The Avenging Angels volleyball team will compete in the USA South Conference semi finals on Thursday November 13th on the road versus Greensboro College.
