RALEIGH, N.C. – The Meredith College soccer program is honored to announce that senior midfielder Ellie Heney and freshman midfielder Hannah Turner have been recognized by the USA South Athletic Conference for their outstanding performance and sportsmanship during the 2025 soccer season.

A four-year contributor and team captain, Ellie Heney earned All-Conference Honorable Mention honors for her leadership, consistency, and dynamic presence in the midfield. A driving force behind the Avenging Angels' attack, Heney started 17 matches this season, contributing a goal and providing steady direction throughout conference play.

Hannah Turner, making an impact in her first collegiate season, was honored with the USA South Sportsmanship Award. This recognition celebrates her embodiment of Meredith's core values—integrity, respect, discipline, and responsibility.

The Avenging Angels concluded a competitive 2025 campaign with strong conference showings and continued growth from both veteran and emerging players.
