Meredith College softball continues to make noise on the national stage as senior pitcher Lillie Davis has been named the Division III Wilson/National Fastpitch Coaches Association Pitcher of the Week (April 14, 2026). The Roxboro, North Carolina native delivered a dominant week in the circle, highlighted by three one-hit performances and multiple outings without allowing an earned run while helping lead the Avenging Angels to a 5-1 record.
Davis was exceptional across 32 innings of work, striking out 33 batters and limiting opponents to just 14 hits while picking up four conference victories. Her consistency and command continue to set the tone for Meredith each time she takes the circle, and she currently leads all of Division III in total wins this season. She also contributed offensively, going 5-for-16 (.313) with three runs scored, three doubles, a home run, and seven RBI—further showcasing her all-around impact.
